POSITION - EXPORT MANAGER
LOCATION - PORT KLANG
SALARY- RM 5000-7000
Job Description
- Responsible for day-to-day smooth running of FCL operational activities
- Manage shipments tendered to the company in a timely manner to achieve profitability.
- Establish and manage relationships and rapport with all carriers, forwarders, transporters, warehouse operators, etc.
- Ensure activities carried out are adhering to corporate compliance, global/local policies, and guidelines;
- Manage and maintain the requirements for export documentation in compliance with CBP and other government agencies
- Actively engage in shipments problem solving
- Responsible for the selection and training of team members.
- Lead, motivate, and manage the performance of the teams to ensure optimum team and individual performance;
Requirement
- Diploma or Bachelor' degree in Logistics, Transportation, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Minimum 8 years relevant experience preferably in Ocean freight forwarding industries
- Good knowledge of FCL Ocean freight forwarding in general
- Willingness to challenge the status quo and drive innovation and change
- Able to work under pressure and deal with tight deadlines
- Good team player
