Success in this position is demonstrated by your ability to design and develop engaging science eLearning experiences for school students. You will excel in creating comprehensive lesson plans, incorporating interactive activities, and fostering a deep understanding of scientific concepts among learners. Your success will be measured by the positive impact on students' engagement, knowledge retention, and enthusiasm for science.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize your expertise in science education to create comprehensive lesson plans and learning materials tailored for school students.
- Apply Bloom's Taxonomy to design learning experiences that promote higher-order thinking skills and concept mastery.
- Develop engaging instructional materials, including interactive simulations, videos, assessments, and hands-on activities.
- Incorporate pedagogical approaches such as scenario-based learning to enhance students' problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of instructional materials through formative and summative assessments.
- Stay abreast of current trends and research in science education to continuously improve learning experiences.
- Manage multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery and effective communication with team members.
- Manage the eLearning platform, including overseeing its functionality and ensuring a user-friendly experience for students and parents.
- Respond to parent or student inquiries and provide timely support and assistance.
- Write engaging social media posts and contribute to marketing efforts to promote the learning platform.
- Assist in organizing and executing online events, such as webinars or virtual science competitions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Science Education, Education, or a related field.
- Preferable: Had experience as a teacher, tutor, preferably in the context of school education.
- Strong understanding of pedagogical approaches for school students.
- Knowledge of digital tools and technology integration to enhance science instruction.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
- Creative problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Passion for science education and inspiring students' curiosity and love for science.
- Fluent proficiency in the Malay language, both spoken and written.
- A genuine love for technology and an eagerness to explore and incorporate new technological tools into instructional design and delivery.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: RM2,000.00 - RM2,600.00 per month
