Responsibilities
As a Topdanmark Guidewire Solution Architect (GSA), you will be working in the policy and claims administration space.

- The GSA works in close collaboration with his/her Solution Architect colleagues in Copenhagen, and creates a ‘bridge’ between the internal and external stakeholders.
- A successful GSA provides direction for our GW implementation efforts, streamlines solution design in GW.
- Understands business requirements and sees how these can be met with different designs that he/she makes.
- The GSA identifies potential issues in our implementation designs and provides solutions to these, so the project can adapt.
- Furthermore, the GSA provides guiding and standards for our implementation teams to follow, making sure our GW implementation has low levels of technical debt, is scalable, supportable and that future requests for new functions/features can be implemented with minimum hassle or rework.
- A good GSA has multiple implementation projects under the vest and talks comfortably with both internal and external partners on all levels. The person provides guidance and technical lead for others but is not an HR manager.
Qualifications
Must Have:
- 8+ years of GW experience, incl. relevant certifications
- 5+ years of working in a GSA role or equivalent role within the Guidewire ecosystem.
- Significant experience in providing architecture, designs and guidance for GW projects.
- Ability to think in levels of design and architecture that bridges the world of business and the world of IT.
- Experience from similar platforms such as SAP, SAS, Salesforce.
- Ambassador to talk to people internally and to external teams.
- To present viewpoints and ideas.
- A teamplayer and have experience in working in international teams (incl. cultural awareness, virtual/remote working).
- A self-starter with minimal supervision required. Someone who can work individually within a team environment.
- Good written and spoken English skills and speaks up! You should be comfortable in low hierarchy organization.
- Easy going – and comfortable with direct communication among peers.
- To be proactive within the organisation and want to do more and experience new projects or tasks.
- Strong communication skills are required to communicate with team members, stakeholders, and end users.
- Ready to question, has a natural habit of sharing knowledge.
- A commitment to collaborative problem solving and product quality is essential.
- Be accustomed and comfortable working within a team-based, experimental agile environment (Scrum Team) that is centric to development.
- Ready for long term commitment.
Education
B.S. or higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or another technical field.
Travelling
Travel to Denmark for induction and subsequence travels depend on project requirement but is likely.
