As a SMAS (Specialized Management Accounting Services) Junior Analyst, you will be responsible to support our SMAS manufacturing Sites, and build strong working relationships with customer groups and stakeholders and drive continuous process and service improvement. You will ensure that process activities are carried out in a robust and efficient manner and delivered accurately to SMAS Customer groups to agreed timelines, and support driving excellence in SMAS processes and contribute widely to a high-performance culture within the team.
This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:
Primarily responsible for support of the delivery of assigned SMAS processes according to agreed SMAS operating model and/or Service Level Agreements whilst ensuring full compliance with GSK and external accounting policies.
Operate according to governance frameworks, policies and internal controls (RMCB / ICFW Controls /Audit), prepare reconciliations for Balance Sheet accounts in scope as well as other relevant accounting controls.
Build strong working relationships with customer groups and stakeholders, manage stakeholder expectations and needs, communicate effectively in all interactions through various means.
To manage own time appropriately to ensure assigned processes are performed and delivered in line with agreed timelines, and according to standard work approach.
Seek development and improvement, to deliver a level of expertise in assigned process to the benefit of SMAS group and site customers.
To actively support the SMAS culture of continuous improvement within the cluster and across the SMAS, striving for standardization and improved performance to support delivery of wider organizational objectives.

Up to 2 years' experience in Accounting or Reporting.
Fluent English
Excels skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with SAP
Knowledge of management accounting and reporting
Able to effectively manage time against agreed deadlines for activities
Flexibility and ‘can do’ attitude, drive to ensure that a task is achieved
Motivated, keen to learn and take on new challenges
