- To plan and execute R and D projects such as new product development and existing products improvements
- To prepare a cost analysis on a development of a new product
- To liaise with suppliers or related authorities for sourcing and screening for raw materials and solving product technical issues
- To carry out RandD projects such as formulation, sample preparation, sensory evaluation, shelf life and stability study toward new product and existing products and prepare report.
- Perform sensory and quality evaluation on raw materials and finished products.
- To record results and prepare reports on sensory, trial run and other RandD activities
- Perform checking on specification and regulatory compliance of food products on different countries.
- To follow up on project progress and ensure project completed on time.
- Prepare SOP for routine experiment and research, ensure product launched according to timeline.
- To arrange product trial samples for lab analysis with correct specifications.
- To ensure all RandD documentation, raw materials samples, trials samples records and daily analysis records are updated, maintained and filed in accordingly.
- To coordinate with other departments on certain development projects.
- To perform any tasks as assigned by Superior.
; Requirements: -
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in Food Technology / Food Science / Nutrition / Dietetics or equivalent
- At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
