Job Description Summary
Internship with the OTR Finance team of GE Gas Power - Malaysia (Services) – a $100M+ annual P&L with 10+ long term service contract across peninsular & eastern Malaysia.Job Description
Essential Responsibilities:
- The intern will work under the direct supervision and guidance of Malaysia’s Country Finance Manager, mainly supporting operational process & innovate to achieve excellence.
- Commercial: Participate in country commercial pacing call, provide thoughtful of current market dynamics + customer spending behavior, as well as sharpening business acumen of candidate.
- Execution: Partner with Contract Performance Managers to drive operational excellence (e.g. billing process, tax & accounting advisory, financial forecast etc.)
- IBS/IC2.0: Partner with Genpact Interco. team to smoothen & simplify intercompany transaction settlement process.
- Candidates are expected to possess and will be given opportunity to grow in leadership attributes – Strong performers in the finance internship role will be considered for candidacy in Financial Management Program (FMP)
Qualifications/Requirements:
- We are looking for candidates who possess learning agility and strong critical thinking, able to work independently, and also effective in matrixed and diverse team structure.
- Lean/Continuous Improvement: Support or own initiatives, using Lean tools to drive standard work and continuous improvement of finance processes
- Ability to communicate & collaborate effectively at all levels ; strong verbal and written communication skills
- Able to do minimum 6 month internship
