Job Role:
- To develop a robust operational plan to ensure delivery and execution of the marine services operations in the Malaysia.
- Manage, empower, and support the respective Marine Services Managers and Teams to deliver against business objectives for sustainable business profit.
- Build strong working relationships with internal & external customers and stakeholders to win and retain business.
- Ensure suitable performance management strategies are in place to maximize Team delivery.
- Restructure and optimize the business where needed for profitability.
- Work with the respective Marine Services Managers to ensure fair and equitable management of employees throughout the regional organization.
- Focus on the continuous improvement of marine services processes and procedures.
- Accountable and responsible for service level performance within the ports of the Area.
- Ensure the highest levels of Customer Service Delivery.
- Accountable for the proper management of Marine Service Partners (sub agents) within Malaysia.
- Engage with customers to grow share of market and drive revenue.
- Lead agreed transformation initiatives as agreed with the Management.
- Execute Talent retention and succession planning initiatives in conjunction with HR.
- Ensures up to date Marine Services Operations Policy in Malaysia, and that policies are in line with local legislation and group policy.
- Continual policy and process development and amending and implementing policies and procedures in line with employment law regulation.

Job Requirement:
- 10+ years of experience in Marine Services Operations, with at least 4 years at a Managerial role, with suitable international operations experience in a shipping / port services environment.
- Experience with managing change programs across dispersed entities, help to drive change in a matrix environment.
- Relevant Marine Services experience in the shipping industry, with the ability to run a cost-efficient operation.
- In depth understanding of port agency operations and market dynamics of the shipping industry.
- Strong command of written and spoken English
- Managing KPIs set by management
- Excellent understanding of Quality/Compliance & HSSE regulations
- Excellent work ethic and proven grounding of discretion and confidentiality.
- Commercially Astute
- Ability to lead teams remotely and the ability to adjust communication style for different situations and cultures.

Salary: RM18,000.00 - RM25,000.00 per month
