Human Resources Analyst - 9 months contract


 
JOB DESCRIPTION


The is a fixed term employment for a duration of 9 months.

As the Human Resources Analyst, you will work closely with the regional and local team on various HR operations tasks such as payroll, statutory payments and reporting and other administrative matters.

You will report to the Head of HR based in Malaysia.

Responsibilities:

  • Payroll processing. To verify and ensure accuracy of payments to employees. To ensure accuracy in statutory contributions.
  • Statutory / Regulatory reporting. To prepare, translate and ensure accuracy in the reporting to regulatory bodies.
  • Verify enrolment and deletion of membership details to benefit vendors, working closely with the Mumbai EDSE team.
  • To ensure proper maintenance of HR records in the location and assist in answering queries from staff and external vendors and regulators.
  • Coordinate training logistics and registration of training for the location.
  • Coordinate with HR vendors and monitor invoices as well as creating transactions/payments in Concur
  • Wellness coordination/logistics support i.e. manual registration, employees bookings and manage feedback forms.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year of payroll processing experience. Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.
  • Good communication, cultural awareness and interpersonal skills
  • Logical thinker and ability to connect the dots and anticipate issues
  • Ability to work collaboratively and develop strong working partnerships with clients and HR colleagues; ability to deal effectively with all levels of staff
  • Ability to manage confidential/ sensitive information
  • Strong knowledge of local market and local employment law/regulations will be an advantage
  • Fluency in English and local language

This role is intended to be for an initial term of approximately 9 months only, however, subject to business needs, the contract may be extended or converted to permanent employment.
