SALARY RANGE : RM3,100 - RM3,900
OUR EXPECTATIONS FOR THE ROLE
Your role as an Executive, Strategy and Special Projects is to support and ensure the implementation of key strategic initiatives across all facets of Teleport’s cargo aspiration. Utilizing a combination of strong critical, analytical thinking as well as effective interpersonal communication and project management skills - you are expected to solve the most complex problems within our organization. You will take on project leadership and assume the role of subject matter expert in relevant projects or undertakings.
A DAY IN A LIFE
In the field of strategy and projects, you can expect your day to be highly varied. Multitasking is normal, and sometimes, your skills or natural talents will be leveraged to support other business priorities. That said, the bulk of your working hours should involve you having to:
Assist and work closely with the Group Head of Cargo in formulating and executing strategic business decisions and projects across all verticals of Cargo
Undertake research and analysis to provide and develop market insight, as well as recommending strategic business decisions moving forward
Understanding existing process flows across all aspects of Cargo Commercial, Cargo Operations and Systems, and provide recommendations on process improvement initiatives
Engage and develop research intelligence on industry-wide and leading best practices for potential adoption
Provide Project Management Office (PMO) support and to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of various Cargo-related projects
Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders in the development of business-wide strategies, process improvements and change management from end-to-end
Support the preparation and delivery of both routine and ad hoc management reports to stakeholders of various levels

SKILLS
These are minimum-requirement skills and a ‘must-have’ for the role:
Strong command of quantitative analyses methods
Excellent knowledge of MS Office
Thorough understanding of marketing and negotiating techniques
Fast learner and passion for innovation and process optimization
Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
Aptitude in delivering attractive presentations
Strong interpersonal skills
These are skills that are ‘nice-to-have’ and will make you stand-out in the job application:
Multilingual
Strong emotional-intelligence and is able to read non-verbal cues of customers
Hands-on experience in project management, stakeholder management or reporting
Confident in presenting to others
Has strong business sense and is able to apply frame problems in a critical and relevant framework
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Has an undergraduate degree, preferably in Economics or Business Administration
0-3 years experience working in a air cargo industry
Experience in Management Consulting, Investment Banking, Corporate Strategy or Project Management is preferred
Strong mathematical & numeracy skills.
Good communication skills, both written and spoken English
Ability to work well under pressure and good problem solving with positive attitude
Basic computer knowledge (able to work with Google Sheets)
Sensitive to confidential data and numbers
